What To Be Aware Of

- Double Garage not for parking use as it is now the Game Room. 
- Strongly recommend 4-wheel drive in winter months.
- No A/C due to cool Mountain Climate,  ceiling fans and blinds down during day keep home cool in summer.
- MAX 16 guests per county guidelines. 
- MAX 6 cars as they all must fit in driveway.
-In the event that a private hot tub in a rental property becomes inoperable during your stay, SkyRun Winter Park will make all attempts to correct the problem as soon as possible and refund a maximum of $25 per day.  This does not apply to on-site recreational facilities where the guest has access to.

Welcome to MOOSE Ridge, our exceptional remodeled home perched on a ridge, offering unrivaled vistas of Grand Lake! We are excited to extend an invitation for you to experience this mountain retreat and its myriad amenities.

Among the remarkable features that set our home apart are a private hot tub and a spacious game room. From the comfort of our living room, you can take in breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, with panoramic views that encompass Rocky Mountain National Park and the Colorado River to the west, as well as Shadow Mountain Lake to the east. A generously-sized wrap-around deck allows you to savor the mountain air and the same breathtaking scenery while listening to the gentle flow of the Colorado River or indulging in some stargazing over the lake.

Our home has undergone a top-to-bottom renovation and has been professionally designed to exceed the expectations of even the most discerning short-term renters. The master bedroom boasts a private atrium with 180-degree mountain views, ideal for observing wildlife, stargazing, or enjoying a good book. The loft is equipped with dual monitors at the desk, offering a perfect spot to work in a paradise-like setting.

Step across the street, as this beautiful rental property extends to that area. Bring your morning coffee and relish more lake views. You'll find a multitude of outdoor activities near this mountain retreat, whether it's a brief drive to the charming town of Grand Lake (just 4 miles or 5 minutes away) or a slightly longer journey (5 miles or 7 minutes) to Rocky Mountain National Park. Our home provides easy access to an array of outdoor pursuits such as hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, and the local favorite, snowmobiling.

We've transformed our spacious two-stall garage into a game room, complete with a bar top, pool table, ping-pong, pop-a-shot basketball, foosball, and life-sized Jenga. You'll also find a large screen TV and a fully operational full-size scoreboard. With a whiteboard and additional seating, this space can easily be transformed into a collaborative conference room for executive retreats.

The third garage stall is available for guest parking (including an electric vehicle plug-in). The driveway can accommodate up to 6 vehicles and provides room for trailer parking, ideal for your boat or recreational equipment. Please note that the driveway has a steep incline, which may be challenging in winter months, so we strongly recommend a vehicle with all-wheel or 4-wheel drive from late November through March.

Skip the Denver ski traffic, as we are just a short 20-minute drive to Granby Ski area and 35 minutes to Winter Park. Nearby, you'll find snowmobile trails, making our location perfect for ice fishing as well. Plus, the driveway doubles as a fantastic sledding hill for little ones, with sleds provided for your enjoyment.

Oh yeah, and why MOOSE Ridge? We almost forgot, but everyone coming here wants to see a moose, right? While we cannot guarantee it, we have personally seen moose right off our front porch on many occasions, and driving down to the Colorado river at dusk will certainly increase your chances!
