Welcome to Sand Dollar. This is a very special property located on an inviting quiet cul-de-sac and just 3 blocks (350 yards) to the Isle of Palms beach access paths. The closest beach access paths are located at 44^th, 43^rd and 42nd avenues.

Sand Dollar is a 5 bedroom, 5 bath dream home with garage game room, garden setting, pool, hot tub and large porches. This home is handicap accessible and includes private parking for four cars. Vacationing at Sand Dollar will create special memories of a lifetime. This is a family-friendly property and does not allow groups or parties.

The main floor has an expansive open floor plan connecting the gourmet kitchen with large table and island to the living room and foyer. Glass doors line the rear of the home and lead to the large porch overlooking the pool that is perfect for morning coffee or an evening dinner. There are two bedrooms on the main level. Bedroom 1 contains a king bed with a full bathroom including a wheelchair accessible shower. This room opens onto the back porch and swing bed. Bedroom 2 is also on the main floor and includes two Queen Beds with dresser and full bath.

The top floor includes the master bedroom, bunk beds, and bedrooms 3 and 4. The master bedroom has a king bed, sitting area and full bath with double sinks and clawfoot tub. Bedrooms 3 and 4 include king beds with attached full baths. The upstairs hall contains a bunk bed nook perfect for the kids.

All bedrooms have been professionally decorated and include HDTVs.

The garage area has been designed for fun and entertaining. This area opens up to the pool side and includes 2 couches, a refrigerator, a ping pong table, HDTV and two table and chair areas. The garage is perfect for spring and summer nights by the pool. Please remember to keep the noise levels down as Isle of Palms has a noise ordinance that is strictly enforced.

The private hot tub and pool are accessible to guests and are serviced twice weekly. The pool area has 6 lounge chairs and an outdoor shower.

Elevator access is available for guests with handicap needs. Please communicate any elevator needs at the time of reservation not after guest arrival.

This property does not allow parties, smoking, or use of the fireplace.

Golf cart rentals are available through iopcartrentals.com. Beach chairs, beach towels, and beach cart are included. Linens, bath towels, and starter soaps are also included.

"Bea's Nest" was originally owned by acclaimed American poetess Beatrice Witte Ravenel.  This home blends the rich history of Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island with modern touches to provide it's guests with an amazing experience just steps from the beautiful Carolina beaches.  This home is the most historic home on Isle of Palms and offers a relaxed beachy vibe.  We are excited to share it with you, your family and friends.

Bea's Nest is a four bedroom home with an attached In-Law Suite over the garage. One of the most used spaces in the entire home is the outdoor area which serves as a gathering place for guests. There’s a space for lounging by the pool, eating a family meal outside, and curling up to watch a movie outside by the working fireplace.  Inside the home, the living area opens into the large Gourmet Kitchen with dining table and island seating. The kitchen and dining area provide ample room for gathering while preparing meals and entertaining. The In-Law Suite contains a spacious and comfortable living area with a sofa bed, a small kitchen, king size bed in large bedroom and a large bath with glass enclosed shower. The extra living space off the Master Bedroom contains a daybed with trundle. This is the perfect space for children to play or sleep. Up the spiral staircase from the second floor takes you to the widow's walk. The widow's walk is perfect for yoga and ocean viewing. You will find private nooks throughout the house for relaxing. The balcony love seat and front porch swing serve as mini-escapes perfect for morning coffee. This oasis is a short walk to the beach.  Rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day at the beach which is only 1500 feet from the beach path. Enjoy cooling off in the pool while still being part of the house activities.  This home comes with beach chairs, surround sound music, games, and much more. The downtown Isle of Palms or Front Beach area is a short 2 walking blocks away and offers shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. The Isle of Palms Marina and the Marina Market is located on the northern side of the island and provides activities including boat rentals, water activities and sports, souvenir shopping and grocery items. The Main Bedroom full bath includes a walk-in shower, garden tub, spacious layout, and his-and-hers sinks. The kids’ room is located mid-hall upstairs and includes two twin beds and a wicker rocker.  This room shares a jack-and- jill bathroom with the third bedroom. The connecting bedroom, bedroom three, is located upstairs and includes a king bed and opens to the second-floor screened porch.  Bedroom four includes a queen bed, a rocker, a full bathroom, and also connects to the second-floor screened porch.
