Getting to the slopes
It is a 600 meter walk from the front door of this condo to the ski hill. You just walk straight towards the base of the mountain and can strap into your skis right outside the gun barrel restaurant.
Once you have arrived at Apex, you really won't need to drive anywhere as everything is within walking distance. If you are Nordic skiing then you will need to drive another 6km further up Apex Mountain Road to reach Nickel Plate Nordic Center.
One designated car space is available immediately in front of the building. Any additional cars must park in the main village car park or at the skating loop.
This excellent condo is located right on the skating loop, which is a 2 minute walk from the middle of Apex Village. Close enough to walk to everything but far enough away to avoid the overnight noise of the village and groomers. The condo comfortably sleeps 6 people in the 2 queen beds in the upstairs loft bedrooms and an additional 2 guests on the pull out couch in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with the basic cooking utensils to allow you to make everything you need during your stay. Plenty of coat hooks help to ensure your clothes will be dry and ready for the next day on the hill. The living/dining room provides excellent views of the ski hill! Apex Village operates with full amenities from December-April, which includes several restaurants, cafes, rental school, ski shop, tube park, hockey rink and skating loop. From April to November the resort becomes a very quiet little village which is great for a quiet escape and getaway from the heat of the Okanagan Valley summer. Enjoy the incredible opportunities at Apex with the all season hiking/snow shoe trails, sledding/dirt biking/4x4 trails or mountain bike trails. Apex has a lot to offer everyone and is a great family destination.
