This 3 story cottage is located in a rural Estes Park neighborhood less than 2 miles from the south entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. You'll have plenty of room for family and friends to spread out and at a reasonable price. The outdoor spaces are great! There is a large ground level deck - perfect for bbqs and picnics. Head up the stairs and you'll enjoy the great mountain views from the wrap-around deck (including the llama ranch next door). Enter Grandma's at the lower level, stepping into a family room with a full size futon. In the next room, you'll find a game table that is perfect for gathering family or friends for board games or poker nights. Head up the stairs and enter the Great Room, surrounded by large light-filled windows that frame the mountains in all directions. There is plenty of seating for watching the large flat screen tv or curling up with a good book. The dining area is open to the great room and kitchen. And you'll love those mountain views from the dining table that seats 8. The kitchen has been updated and offers all the dishes, pots n' pans, appliances and convenience to make cooking easy for your stay. Step out the kitchen door onto the wrap-around deck and you'll see the picnic deck below. Head down the hall from the Great Room and you'll come to a bedroom on the right. This room is decorated in purple hues and features a cozy queen bed. Across the hall is a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. At the end of the hall is a spacious laundry room for your convenience. Climb the stairs off the Great Room to the 3rd floor bedrooms. At the top of the stairs and to the right, there is a bedroom featuring a queen bed. At the other end of the hall is a large third bedroom with a king bed and spectacular mountain views. These two bedrooms share a bath with a shower and vanity with a single sink. A stay at Grandma's Getaway feels like a relaxing visit to a comfy family mountain home. It's not 5 star but it's clean and the beds are comfortable. You'll be glad you stayed!
