Perched above Lake Estes, the Lake House offers spectacular views of Lake Estes, it's surrounding shores and of course, the snowy peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park. This home is on the Lake Estes Trail - a 3.75-mile trail that wraps around beautiful Lake Estes. A walk or jog on this trail will take you past an adventure park, a marina, restaurants, a nine-hole golf course and a bird sanctuary where bald eagles nest. This trail system connects to the Estes Park Visitor Center, the hub for shuttle buses to Rocky Mountain National Park, and the River Walk that winds throughout downtown Estes Park.
Enter the Lake House and you'll immediately be ready to kick back and relax. Everything about this vacation home is designed for families to enjoy a little mountain time... and a little lake time. As you step through the front door, you'll see the spot to kick off your shoes, shed your jacket and stay awhile. A mountain rustic dining table offers a great spot for dinners for 6. Plop down on the comfy love seat and take in the view of the lake below through the sliding glass doors. A cozy little gas stove takes off the evening chill on cool mountain nights. Next, to the sliding glass doors, you'll view an extra-wide flat screen tv... great for family movies or winter football games. Through the great room, you enter the family room where everyone can gather on the uber comfortable sofa and loveseat. Be sure to have the shades up for there is not a better view of Lake Estes to be found. Need to check in with the job or your people? A small desk offers a space for your laptop where you can stay in touch.
