ALOHA! A tropical paradise awaits you! E Koma Mai (Welcome) to this GORGEOUS, upscale 3 bedroom/3.5 bath home located above Keauhou, about 15-20 minutes south of Kailua Kona town. You will know you are in for a treat as you pull down the driveway and see the cascading waterfall, and tropical fruits such as mandarins, starfruit, avocado, lime, African basil (for pesto), mangos, dragon fruit and white figs to pick and enjoy as you wish when the fruits are in season. The exterior has a beautiful new pool deck and saltwater pool (pool can be heated for an additional fee). Views, views, views: from the house, pool deck and upstairs private deck, you will enjoy views of the coastline that will take your breath away - from South Kohala to Kealakekua and beyond. Even whale watch from the pool! At times you will feel as if you are in a jungle, with parrots flying by and coqui frogs singing at night.

Inside you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful, yet comfortable furnishings. You will be mesmerized by the incredible Koa Wood custom cabinetry throughout the house - in the kitchen, bathrooms and upstairs kitchenette. The main kitchen is chef's dream and is fully stocked with high end appliances, granite counters, and a pellet grill outside. The gorgeous interior furnishings have an Asian flare with antiques and fabulous artwork, including by some of Hawaii's favorite artists.

This house is perfect for 3 couples, or a family with teens wanting their own space. Upstairs, you will find a large, private getaway. It includes a King bed (that can be converted into 2 xl twin beds), kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, microwave, in addition to a dressing area, full bathroom, flat screen smart TV and vintage billiard table. There is also a private deck with expansive coastline views. On the main floor there are two more large bedrooms. The primary suite features a King bed, two walk-in closets and bathroom. There is even a daybed in case you would like to keep your little one close to you at night. The guestroom on the main floor has 2 twin beds which convert into a King bed if preferred, as well as a full bathroom, accessible from both the guestroom and the hallway. The living room is large and comfortable, offering a flat screen smart TV and decorative fireplace. For your dining options, you may wish to pull up a bar stool to enjoy a cup of Kona Coffee at the kitchen counter or enjoy casual family dining at the kitchen table. Should you desire a more formal setting, you can serve a more elegant meal in the main dining area. The laundry room, located off the kitchen, has large capacity washer and dryer. There is another 1/2 bathroom in this area as well.

If you find yourself working remotely while on vacation, there is an office desk with printer/scanner. We offer Wi-Fi and smart TVs in living room and upstairs suite. The house is stocked with games, some weights and a yoga mat.

When you decide to leave the beautiful home to explore the island and / or beaches, you will find everything needed, including boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, even a cooler, etc. While you can find an assortment of beaches (white, black and green sand) around the island, the closest beaches are only a 10-minute drive. You may wish to check out Kahalu'u which is unique in that one side of the bay is protected by a natural reef which makes for safe and easy snorkeling, while the other side of the bay offers unprotected waves and is known for great Kona surfing (where you can take surfing lessons). Or try Magic Sands Beach, which is famous for white sand and fun waves to boogie board. How about a round of golf? Kona Country Club Golf Course is also only about 10 minutes away. Keauhou Harbor is very convenient (10-minute drive) to book fishing, diving, snorkeling, whale/dolphin watching or sunset cruises.

Keauhou shopping center is about 5 minutes away and offers stores to shop, grocery store, drug store, restaurants, theater, fast food options, a gas station, as well as Farmer's Market Saturday mornings and usually free concert or entertainment on Friday evenings. If you wish to go into town, Kailua Kona Village is only a 15-20 minute drive, where you can find more restaurants, shops, historical sites and fun events.
