Gorgeous, smartly appointed 3BR / 3BA downtown Aspen core condo! Owned by a long-time part-time local, this beautiful 3BR is perfect for a week or month getaway. Our place sets itself apart from the competition with deeded downtown parking, a beautiful wrap-around deck facing aspen mountain, great natural light, and a large gear room for bikes, skis, and all the rest.

We are located just a block from the Gondola, two blocks from the 1A base, one block to Ruby Park Transit Hub, and walkable to all downtown Aspen has to offer. Common areas include a pool and hot tub.

What To Be Aware Of

We are located on Aspen mountain, a little walking uphill is nessisary :-) 

Additionally, even though the unit is ground floor, and just two blocks from everything, Mill St. is quite steep, and is often icy in the winters. The second bedroom, kitchen, and living room are on the second level, and there IS NO elevator access to this part of the property, as such those looking for a more ADA-compliant unit should look elsewhere.

THis is the mountains, so be mindful of bears and other wildlife.

Getting to the slopes You're in luck! Just a few blocks away, you may access Aspen Mountain (Ajax) one of two ways. For the gondola, walk down Mill St. one block, then turn right at the HYATT hotel drive, walk one more block, and the Gondola will be directly in front of you. Grab a quick bite at Big Wrap, Shlomo's, or a coffee at Gorsuch and head on up! For lift 1A walk up Mill St. half a block to Summit St. Turn right and walk straight for 1.5 blocks through the ally. 1A (no lift lines... shhh!) will be in front of you. If you are headed to any of the other three ski areas: Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, or Snowmass, walk down Mill St. two blocks to the Ruby Park bus station. Hop on the appropriate bus (buses run every hour, half hour, or 15 minutes via skier shuttle depending on the time of year) which is FREE! To check the current schedule, please visit www.RFTA.com
Getting around Getting around could not be easier! First means of transit: YOUR FEET! You are just blocks from everything Aspen has to offer, so walking everywhere is your best option. Trust you will enjoy it more. Should you want to get out of town, your best option is Aspen's FREE world class bus system, RFTA (Roaring Fork Transit Authority). To get to the closest station and primary bus depot, walk down Mill St. two blocks to Ruby Park bus station. Hop on the appropriate bus and be on your way. Busses run around town, to Hunter Creek, to Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, Snowmass Village, and Down Valley. If you are looking for modern gold accommodations, look no further! Located in the heart of town, this unit comfortably sleeps six in beds and provides access to a lovely common pool/hot tub area. This condo features all the comfort and style you need. This is the ideal yearly landing pad for you and those you love.

A free parking space awaits for one car should you choose to drive, with the convenient unit entrance just steps away. Our large wrap-around patio faces Aspen mountain with room for grilling a dinner party, or apre' cocktail. The electronic combination lock on the door will give you secure and easy access.

After entering, to your left is the master bedroom. A soft ample queen bed connects to a large bathroom with vanity and shower/tub. The detached gear room serves as a walk in closet for the main guests, and has room for skis, bikes, and the messiness that comes with mountain fun!

Adjacent on the main level is our second bedroom, the perfect place for the kids! Two twin beds offer ample sleeping room for Lil ones and can be pushed together to make a queen-size sleeping area. The attached bathroom has a shower and extra towels. 

A second master can be found upstairs, it too with a queen bed, bedside tables, a walk-in closet, and a generous attached bathroom. The large glassed-in shower and well-lit vanity will have you up and ready for any occasion.

Outside the master bedroom upstairs is a spacious living area including a gourmet kitchen with an island, living and dining room, wood burning fireplace, and area to chill.  Lofty ceilings and large south and west-facing windows allow the primary space to get great natural light. Two chairs and a couch create a seating area wrapped around a wood burning fireplace and a flat-screen TV.

The kitchen is fully appointed and centered around beautiful marble wrap-around countertops. It has ample countertop space for prepping and cooking. It comes complete with a full-sized oven, four gas burners, coffee maker, toaster, teapot, blender, and dishwasher. You will find more than enough tableware and glassware for your group, as well as a full set of pots and pans.

The condo has plenty of amenities to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. These include a coat rack, an outside ski rack for the winter months, a full washer and dryer, and a large pantry, cable and Wifi.

The condo is located on S. Mill St., two blocks from both the Gondola and Ruby Park. The Ruby Park Bus Depot provides free bus service to everything the valley has to offer. All four ski resorts, the airport, and cultural experiences are just a ride away! This is a premier location for both winter and summer activities.
