Good Neighbor Policies are strictly enforced in all SkyRun vacation rentals.  Quiet Hours: 9pm to 8am. It is important that guests adhere to these policies as any complaints may result in early departure of the guest stay and or/fine(s) to guests. The Good Neighbor Policies Flyer is posted in all SkyRun vacation rentals as a friendly reminder to be a Good Neighbor during your stay in North Lake Tahoe!

Drones are prohibited to be operated from all SkyRun vacation rentals and in all North Lake Tahoe residential/community neighborhoods.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Skidder Trail Family Lodge is comfortably crafted, spacious and private and is the perfect year-round gathering place with family and friends.  Sitting on the 18th fairway in the prestigious Northstar Resort community, you will love the homey atmosphere with stunning views from just about every room in the house. Feel the warmth of the wood fire from the grand stone hearth that takes center place in the living room or sink into an oversized sofa while watching your favorite show on the 65" flat screen Smart TV. The fully stocked kitchen provides all the tools and amenities you need for easy meal making with an open lovely dining area and large table that sits before a bay window.  Steps away is a wet bar with seating and a gas stove fireplace adding charm and warmth on those chilly nights. Venture off to the cozy den (w/ queen sofa sleeper) that sets the tone for privacy, quiet time, reading a book or watching your favorite movie on the 40" flat screen TV.  For added convenience, a full bathroom is located on the main level adjacent to the den, kitchen and living room. A laundry room with a side by side washer and dryer is located at the end of the hall off the kitchen. A spacious enclosed mudroom protects you from inclement weather as you prepare for your day of adventure. 

Nestled on the upper level are 4 bedrooms that are bright and airy with natural wood cabinetry  and carpeting throughout. The 2 spacious and lush master king ensuite features a private deck and 40" flat screen TV. The main master ensuite offers a sunken jetted tub (with spectacular views), walk-in shower and separate vanities. The two cozy guest queen bedrooms across the hall are joined by a jack and jill bathroom with one room featuring a romantic bay window seat and 24" flat screen TV. Both rooms are equipped with a twin roll away bed.

5-STAR NPOA SHARED AMENITIES
Guests have access to the NPOA Recreation/Fitness Center located at the Village at Northstar. The Center features an outdoor pool, hot tub, pool table, fitness equipment and more. Two key cards are provided to guests to access the various amenities at the Center. Guests will find the key cards hanging on a hook in the mudroom upon entrance through the front door.   A minimal daily fee applies (cash only). COMPLIMENTARY NORTHSTAR SHUTTLE
Enjoy the complimentary door to door Northstar shuttle that takes you to the slopes, Village at Northstar, NPOA Recreation/Fitness Center, Golf Course or to any other activities in Northstar. For further information about the days and hours that the shuttle is in operation call: (530) 562-3559.  Rides are scheduled through the Northstar Village Transit App.

_Air Conditioning: No. Due to cooler sierra mountain climate many properties are not equipped with AC.  It's rare that temps get into the 80s or more, but when they do you may need to open windows to let in the nighttime air that typically gets into the 40s or 50s

PARKING (4 vehicles - 1 in garage, 3 in driveway): NO PARKING ON STREETS. Parking can be strictly enforced. To avoid tickets or towing, please adhere to signs and parking allocations. SkyRun is not responsible for any fees or damage to vehicle(s) that may occur.

ROAD CONDITIONS: Please Be Advised that highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. It is critical that during winter months that brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition.  AWD/4WD and/or chains are required. BEAR ACTIVITY: 
Please be advised that bear visits can be frequent. It is important that open food, beverage containers and any trash are NOT left in cars on decks or around outside premises of property.  Keep car windows rolled up and doors locked. Close and lock all doors (including garage door) and windows when away from the premises or when retiring for the night. 

GARBAGE:
Keep all garbage in trash cans provided at the property. Should you have excess trash during your stay, take garbage to the Northstar Dumpsite located on Northstar Drive. Directions: from Basque Road, turn left onto Northstar Drive. The entrance gate in about 100-150 feet on your right hand side. You will need a NPOA key card (located at the property) to access the gate.
