Good Neighbor Policies are strictly enforced in all SkyRun vacation rentals. Quiet Hours: 9pm to 8am. This multi-level modern mountain home features beautiful craftsmanship with an open floor plan and spacious deck with stunning views of the sierra mountains. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, you will find the location to be private and peaceful. As you enter through the front door, you will find a spacious wet/mudroom. You will love the convenience of this mudroom for storing your winter/summer equipment and gear and getting ready for your day's adventure while being out of the inclement weather. Enter through the second door off the mudroom and you are in the large foyer area- a beautiful welcoming into the home!
On the main level, this fine home features a full guest bathroom with a walk-in shower, a Loft/Entertainment/TV area and a master bedroom w/ensuite bathroom that has a private patio overlooking the incredible views. The Loft/TV room features a flatscreen SMART TV with access to streaming services. The room offers a cozy atmosphere to watch your favorite TV show, movie, read a book or just curl up for those quiet moments.
From the main level, head down a short flight of stairs and you are in the living area. This room is vast and bright with a cathedral ceiling, comfortable furnishings, a wood burning fireplace and a wall of windows that beams in natural light and offers stunning views. Take two steps down off the living area and you are in the kitchen and dining area. Meals are easily prepared in this modern, well-equipped kitchen with room for all to gather in the dining area while taking in the scenic views from the large windows that surround the dining area.
Open the sliding glass door off the dining area and walk onto the private spacious deck to start your outdoor adventure - the best views in this mountain home! The deck is equipped with a gas BBQ and patio furniture (seasonal).
The remaining living quarters are on the lower level of the home. You will find 2 master bedrooms w/ensuite bathroom, a bonus area with a twin bunk bed, and a stackable washer and dryer. Due to snowplowing and other year-round activities to keep streets clear and open for vehicle use, there is NO PARKING on the street. SkyRun is not responsible for any damage that may happen to your vehicle. AWD is recommended in inclement weather.
Garbage: Garbage pick-up is on Monday AM. If your stay falls over a Monday, please remove all trash from the property and place in garbage receptacles in the Bear Bin that is located at the entrance of driveway to be hauled away. Ensure the Bear Bin is securely latched and the key is removed from the door. Should you accumulate excess trashduring your stay, you will need to take it with you or dispose of it - please take to Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal located at Hwy 89 & Cabin Creek Road in Truckee.
