| Getting to the slopes | Either drive yourself to the Two-Creeks and Base Village base areas (each about 5 minutes away) or use free public transit to get dropped off without the hassle of driving and parking. Free taxis can be arranged to connect with the bus system which can seamlessly take you to any of the four mountains. |
| Getting around | Aspen/Snowmass has a great network of free public buses and shuttles to get you around. The buses reach the base of Faraway Road. For last mile service, the town of Snowmass Village will provide free taxi-cab rides during normal bussing hours (5:15 am - 2:15 am). Uber and Lyft also serve the property on a limited basis in season. There are three parking spots for personal vehicles, one garage. Our Recommendation- Let the town drive you, it's safer, cheaper and stress-free. Here is some useful information: The Roaring Fork Transit (RFTA) bus system is free between Snowmass Village, Aspen, the Airport, Castle and Maroon Creeks, and all Ski Mountains. Come enjoy this beautiful 3 bedrooms three bath enclave in Aspen/Snowmass Colorado. Located directly on Snowmass Ski Area you get the both of a private secluded residence in the woods, and direct local access to skiing, Snowmass Village, Aspen, and the entire Roaring Fork Valley.
This home boasts a spacious interior, lovely appointments, great natural light, wrap around decks and spa, a heated garage, and a lovely home-like feel.
With free public transit and parking for three, this is an ideal base to explore the Roaring Fork Valley in any season.
Of course, this would not be a SkyRun property without a local touch. That's why you will always have access to our property manager, the local man on the ground, and long time local Skippy Mesirow for general support, local advice, suggestion on where to go or what to see, or even a tour around town.

As you enter through the lower entrance you are greeted with a warmed two car garage, a downstairs terrace, and outdoor parking for two vehicles (season depending) all nestled in a grove of Aspen trees. As you enter the property you will find a small bench suitable to take off your coat, change your shoes, and put down your grocery bags.
To you left is the second master bedroom, a large enclave with couch, flat-screen TV, natural light, double vanity sinks and an attached full bathroom.
Moving back a half flight up the stairs you will find a sizable laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer, an ironing board, and cleaning supplies. Climbing the second half flight past a caribou head takes you to the second and main floor. Inside of the large deck overlooking the Snowmass, Village valley is an open floor plan with a central wood burning fireplace. Round it is a flat screen TV, two large stylized couches, a dining table for 8, a high kitchen pass through perfect for breakfast, and an open kitchen with plenty of counter space to cook. There is a toaster oven, a microwave, a full refrigerator and freezer, and a coffee maker.
Moving out of the main area and down the hallway, you will find a nicely sized third bedroom with a queen/twin bunk bed set up, a full closet, and a sitting area. In the hallway is the third and final full bath.
Up the last half flight of stairs is a double closet for outerwear leading into the master bedroom. The master is sizable with a king bed, plenty of storage, a walk-in cedar closet, a sitting area, a TV, and lots of natural light. The attached bath has a double vanity, toilette, and a bidet.
A large secluded outdoor deck with beautiful all-weather furniture, gas grill, and private hot tub can be accessed through two double doors in the master bedroom, or through the front door near the outerwear, closets to not disturb the happy couple.
This is a beautiful home, nestled in the forests, private and secluded, yet still on the Ski Area and just a stones throw from every major attractions.
